Viewmont is bustling community located within Hickory city limits. A large majority of Hickory’s fine dining and shopping is located here.

Our wonderful downtown area is also located in Viewmont. Downtown offers unique boutique shopping and both formal & casual dining.

Downtown also boasts Lowe’s Food City Park, a new play area and splash pad.

Friday and Saturday nights are full of music and dancing during the Sails Original Music Series. This is the City of Hickory’s original music series, which features music from diverse and unique backgrounds. 

Another wonderful event held in Viewmont is the Farmer’s Market, held every Wednesday and Saturday morning April through September.
